Sorry for the delay, things have been rather chaotic lately.
Welcome [army], to the alliance. Leader: Alfa.
Everyone should know that by now, and if not, shame on you =P
Two members have been kicked from Phi. I will not elaborate in much detail as to who or why. I would like to take the oppurtunity to remind you that the following is not encouraged in the alliance:
- The distribution of images or videos containing hentai, [Warning. Following small text contains details.] funtari (various genatalia involved in/around/on one person), coprophilia (feces), and other inappropriate images - random porn basically, or other crude and disgusting gory images that are not suitable for 15/16 year olds. If you're a sick pervert and insist on doing it, send them to someone like you and through pm please. This is expressly forbidden in the alliance. Don't describe it verbally, typed, or through images. Please.
- Racism, sexism, etc - further insults towards people. It does not matter if they are said in jest. In guild chat players are known and jokes are tolerated - or can be stemmed easily. In alliance chat and among other guilds things easy are easily taken out of context. This is a commonly known fact. Players know that if they can shut up, Ignore, turn off Chat or leave the arguement dissipates completely. It's an Officer's or GL's problem then.
- Insulting people's dead family members. Not that good an idea. Or even living ones. A name with 'Childporn' in it is obviously going to offend a member with children. Or without.
- If you're asked to stop, particularly by any officer or guild leader, there is a reason for it. So please stop. There's no reason for you to randomly insult them because you 'want to be mean'. There is no reason for to tell others that a player is a GL (pretending to be me for instance) or an Officer.
Together those two players have been warned at least 9 times (5 in Mumble, 4 online) about their inappropriate behaviour. About 8 of those were by issued by me in the form of an informal request, a conversation, pulling them aside to chat and to ask to please stop doing these things.
I am not anyones mother but this is a community of generally dignified players who want to play and have fun instead of pass around perversion and insult one another. If we all behave there need not be anything to complain about. Simple. Be nice. That's what it boils down to. If you can't be nice, you don't belong here, seriously XD I'm fed up of telling people off and giving them about a zillion 'chances'. No one knows the full story, and I have definitely given these two more than a second chance. But no, more people get insulted, and some great members have LEFT because they, too, were fed up.
So, new rule for the Phi guild: members who don't change the way they behave after the third major incident will be kicked. Sorry it comes to this =( If someone actually wanted to change, they wouldn't need more than one warning. That is also why other members involved in yesterday's arguement remain in the alliance, while 'these two' do not.
You two, goodbye and goodluck. I really hope you find somewhere where you are readily accepted by everyone wholeheartedly.
To the rest of the alliance: It's a pleasure knowing you, and I am quite glad to share this alliance with you.
